“Discovering Pathways after CanSkate”

An excellent explanation of what comes next after CanSkate…

CanSkate graduates pursuing hockey or ringuette transition to Power Skate to advance their skating skills specifically for their sport.

CanSkate graduates interested in Figure Skating transition to STARSkate. Levels 1-5 provide opportunities for development in the various disciplines of freeskate, skills, dance, interpretive, synchro, and pairs. STARSkaters have assessment and competition opportunities. From STAR5, figure skaters may choose to either enter the Podium Pathway or continue on to STARSkate 5-Gold, and eventually to Adult Skate.

Learn how these programs align with Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development Model.
